šŸ’¬ Evie tells the truth about online dresses šŸ’¬

Okay, so here’s the truth.

I went into MK Prom a few weeks back—my mum booked us in, and honestly, I was just planning to have a look.

The ladies there were so nice, and I tried on loads of dresses. Then I put on that one—a deep blue satin with the lace-up back—and I felt like an actual movie star. It fit pretty well too, and they said with a few tweaks it’d be flawless.

But I got in my own head and thought, ā€œBet I can find it cheaper online.ā€ So I walked out without it. I honestly thought I was being smart. šŸ™ƒ

Prom night came and the dress I ordered online had issues. Bit too snug on the hips, bust was gappy, stitching a bit off—nothing massive, but definitely not right. I still wore it though, thinking no one would notice. But then I walked in… and saw another girl—Isla—in the exact same dress. Only hers looked like it was made for her. She got it from MK Prom. Same one I tried on. She looked stunning, confident, completely comfortable. And that’s when it hit me—if I’d just got it from MK Prom, they wouldn’t have sold that dress to anyone else at my school. I literally missed out on their Exclusive Dress Promise.

I wanted to cry.

So yeah—don’t do what I did. If you try on a dress at MK Prom and it makes you feel like that girl, don’t walk away thinking the internet will do you better. It won’t. Trust the people who’ve been doing this for years, who care how you look and feel. MK Prom had my back—I just didn’t listen.
