Meet the Team

Meet the faces at MK Prom!

The crew making the prom magic!

Diana - Founder
Diana’s story is woven into every fitting room moment and every “yes to the dress” smile. She may not always be in the shop as often as she’d like, but her vision shapes everything Mk Prom stands for — and when she’s here, she brings a kind of energy that fills the whole place
The Famous Sally !
Meet Sally — Calm Confidence in Every Fitting. Sally is one of MK Prom’s most-loved stylists, known for her gentle patience. She welcomes families in, chats through your dream vibe, and guides every try-on. Appointments with Sally are relaxed, personal, and never rushed. Her rule? No pressure — we’ll try on as many dresses as it takes. She creates a quiet, safe space that helps nervous shoppers feel at ease. Sally is especially brilliant with shy, anxious, or neurodivergent customers. She follows your lead, explains things softly, and keeps you in control. Her favourite moment is the mirror smile — the “this is the one” pause. Sally’s prom tip: “Come as you are — we’ll go at your pace and find you.”.
Sam - Pro since 8 years old
Sam has grown up with MK Prom being the owners daughter— literally. Now 17 and fresh from her own prom, she brings a brilliant mix of real prom experience and lifelong shop-floor know-how. She sold her very first dress here at just eight years old, and that early spark has turned into a genuine talent for helping girls feel excited, calm, and confident. Sam’s styling style is all about making it fun first: no pressure, plenty of try-ons, and finding the dress that feels like you, not just what’s trending. Her favourite moment is that big grin — the instant you just know. If you’re new to prom shopping, Sam’s top tip is simple: come with an open mind, try the wildcard, and trust the “yes” feeling when it hits..
Alex - Big sister Stylist
Alex is one of MK Prom’s teen-girl stylists, bringing a warm, big-sister energy to every fitting. As the owner’s niece, she’s grown up around the boutique — and she treats every appointment like it matters, because it does. Alex loves helping girls find a dress that feels like them, not just something that looks good on the hanger. If you’re unsure what you want, she’ll pull a fun mix of safe picks and wildcards, turning the search into a relaxed style adventure. She’s especially tuned in to the little details that make a teen feel confident, comfortable, and fully herself. Alex’s prom tip: come open-minded, try different shapes, and trust the dress that makes you feel it straight away.
Grace - our Saturday Sparkle star
Grace is our lovely new Saturday girl at MK Prom, and she’s diving into her very first prom season with total excitement. At just 15, she’s already living for the glitter, the music, and those big mirror “no way… this is IT” moments. Grace brings a sweet, calm bestie vibe that makes girls feel comfortable straight away — especially if they’re a bit shy or nervous. She’s started stepping into fittings too, helping girls pick styles, chatting through what they like, and hyping them up as their confidence grows. She loves anything sparkly or bold-coloured, but her favourite is when a girl tries a surprise dress and comes out glowing. If you’re visiting on a Saturday, expect a warm smile, a calm presence, and plenty of “yesss you look amazing!” energy from Grace.
The Boss Behind the Magic
Neil is the heartbeat of MK Prom. As our family-run “big boss,” he keeps prom season running smoothly, supports the team, and makes sure every girl feels safe, excited, and properly looked after from the moment she walks in. He’s known for two things: classic dad jokes that break the ice, and an uncanny talent for picking the dress. If Neil hands you a gown and says “try this one,” trust him — he’s watched thousands of “yes” moments and knows what makes a girl light up. This year he also led our move into a bigger new space, with one non-negotiable goal: keep the MK Prom vibe warm, calm, and personal. And with in-house tailoring, the experience stays stress-free right through to the perfect fit. Neil’s favourite part? The bad joke effect 🙂
