1. Do I need an appointment to try on prom dresses?

Yes. MK Prom is appointment-led so our stylists can give you time and personal attention. Book your prom dress fitting online. For a special group or VIP enquiry, please telephone us on 01908 411360.

2. What dress sizes do you carry?

Our showroom carries a wide range of prom dresses in sizes 0–30. Our stylists will help you explore shapes and styles that make you feel comfortable and confident.

3. Do you have dresses to try on, or are they made to order?

We have more than 1,500 dresses to try at MK Prom. Our current designer line-up includes Gino Cerruti, Prom Frocks, Goya, Hermione and Tania Olsen. Some dresses can be purchased from available stock; other sizes or colours may be ordered from the designer, subject to availability.

4. How long does it take to order a dress?

Delivery times depend on the designer, dress and stock availability. Some special orders may take up to 12 weeks, so book early to allow enough time for ordering and alterations. Our team will explain the expected timing for your chosen dress.

5. Do you offer alterations?

Yes. Our experienced in-house seamstress team can assist with alterations such as hems, straps and bodice adjustments. We’ll explain the fitting process and any applicable costs. Find out more about MK Seamstress.

6. Can I buy a dress online?

Our website is for discovering styles and arranging appointments, not for purchasing prom dresses online. We want you to see the dress, try it on and choose it with confidence. Browse dresses, then book a fitting at our Bletchley showroom.

7. How does your one-dress-per-school promise work?

Once you have chosen your dress, we register its style against your school prom event. We will not sell the same style to another girl attending that event, even in a different colour.

8. How much do prom dresses cost?

Prices at MK Prom vary by designer and style. You can secure your chosen MK Prom dress with a £120 deposit. For beautiful designer samples and one-off dresses priced £120–£250, explore MK Outlet, located inside the same Bletchley showroom.

9. Where are you located?

10. Do you sell accessories and shoes?

Our main focus is prom dresses. We may also have a small selection of accessories available, so please ask your stylist during your visit.

11. Is there parking?

Yes, we have customer parking to the rear of the building, accessible via the driveway beside the premises, subject to space availability.

12. Do customers travel from outside Milton Keynes?

Absolutely. We welcome girls from Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire and further afield. Wherever you travel from, our school-dress register helps protect your chosen style for your own school prom event.

13. What are your opening hours?

Our normal opening hours are Monday–Saturday, 10:00 am–5:30 pm, and Sunday, 10:00 am–4:00 pm. Dress fittings are by appointment. Additional appointments outside normal hours may be available through our online booking calendar.

14. I’m nervous or anxious about trying on dresses. Can you help?

Of course. We offer friendly, non-pushy appointments and quieter fitting rooms for girls who would prefer a calmer experience. Please mention that you would like a quiet fitting when booking.
