Dear MK Prom Team,
I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the girls on your team who helped make something really special happen for me.
My mum, Mandy, passed away last year, and her favourite colour was always purple. It was her thing—strong, bold, beautiful. So when prom started coming up, I knew I didn’t want just any dress—I wanted a purple princess dress, for her.
When I first came into MK Prom, you didn’t have anything in purple like that. But instead of just saying “sorry,” you said you’d speak to your suppliers and see what you could do. I didn’t expect much, to be honest… but you actually did it.
When I came back and saw the dress you’d found, I just froze—it was perfect. A proper princess dress, in her favourite colour. I tried it on and honestly, I felt like me again, but stronger. Like she was with me.
You even made sure it fit just right with little adjustments using the extra material. I didn’t have to explain anything—you just got it.
